

Melissa Murray
Associate
Melissa Murray is an Associate in the firm’s Conveyancing Department. She has represented both individuals and corporate clients in a wide range of real estate transactions, including first registration applications and land transfers. Melissa is well-versed in preparing and reviewing agreements for sale and leases, advising on stamp duty and registration procedures and facilitating the sale and acquisition of both residential and commercial properties.
In addition to her conveyancing practice, Melissa is actively engaged in probate and estate administration matters. She prepares and files applications for Grant of Probate and Administration and provides clients with guidance on estate planning, asset distribution and the legal obligations of beneficiaries and executors in accordance with Jamaican law.
Melissa has a strong interest in volunteerism and was actively involved in the Norman Manley Law School Children’s Outreach Project at the Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre-a major refurbishing initiative undertaken in collaboration with the Kiwanis Club of St. Andrew.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of the West Indies and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology, Jamaica. She is a graduate of the Norman Manley Law School and is admitted to practice in Jamaica.
