Helen Evelyn has considerable experience and expertise in handling real estate/conveyancing transactions and mortgage financing. She handles a large portfolio which also includes the preparation of Wills and the settling of trusts, the probate and administration of estates as well as matters involving estate planning. Helen has acted for several years for a leading Building Society in Jamaica, handling all aspects of mortgage financing, public auction and private treaty sales.
Helen Evelyn became a Partner in 1990 and is a member of the firm’s Conveyancing Department.
Helen is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association and serves on the Bar’s Conveyancing sub-committee. She is also a Trustee of the Bethel Baptist Church Foundation Limited and provides legal advice and assistance at the Bethel Baptist Legal Aid Clinic. She has made presentations and written articles in relation to her areas of practice and is also a trained mediator.
